  11.    Evolutions is a utility program that will convert series of spaces in a file
  12. into tabs (nice for converting a text file for use as a spreadsheet) or do
  13. general clean-up work by removing control characters and adding or deleting
  14. linefeeds (for IBM to Mac conversions and the reverse).
  15.  
  16.    In general the program is pretty quick (about 5K/sec. on a Mac Plus) and it
  17. has on-line help. The program was designed to take advantage of the Macintosh
  18. interface; windows are movable, desk accessories are available even during an
  19. evolution! Developing this program was a great learning experience for me (and
  20. very exciting), I hope that you will enjoy using this program half as much as I
  21. enjoyed programming it!

  23.    Oh yeah . . . there is a small shareware fee ($10 U.S.). Paying for share-
  24. ware will only help you, the user. Expect to see bigger and better packages in
  25. the future from Emerald (especially if you pay the ten bucks!). Please report
  26. any bugs or fixes that you may find in the program to the address, phone no.
  27. or CIS address that you will find in the About Evolutions╔ menu choice. Updates
  28. to this program will be free via modem or by mail (as long as you provide a disk to copy the upgrade onto).
